Hi readers! sorry for the lack of updates these past two weeks, but I was seriously busy working my ass off for an important project, so I'm sure you'll all understand. I'm back now and I'll try to make up for lost posts ;)

Ziyoda – Hali, hali
This is not my favorite song from Uzbek pop princess Ziyoda, but it's nice that she tries something new in this latest single: Dance. It takes too long to start, and the video is not very sucessful, if only the dancers did not have such tacky costumes...

Hiatus
Hello dearest readers!!
I'm sorry for the unannounced hiatus. I was off for a much needed holiday to the sun (contemplating whether or not to continue this blog). BUT I've decided to continue, just because I like writing, and since I'll do my researching anyway, why not share it with all of you!
I'm currently watching the Eurovision Song Contest (sorry Belgium, but Iris was off-key), and I'll give you my highs and lows really soon!
Rihanna – Where Have You Been
Another fantastic Rihanna video. As the financial crisis lingers, we see a lot of low budget videos. Not miss RiRi's though! This video is impeccably styled and directed to the max. If i didn't love the song before, I'm mad about it now!
Toni Braxton – I Heart You
Remember the times when Toni Braxton would put out songs and nobody cared? Well those days are far from gone. In fact not even a million reality soaps would change the fact this song is outdated by 20 years. There's really nothing current about it. And so another sad page of Braxton fail-history is written. At least the sitcom keeps her out of bankruptcy this time, foe now...
Yes, Italy has China Towns
Or will Italy have Little Italy's soon? While the song isn't that great, this footage of the Milano Chinatown does show us an ongoing trend (or problem to some) in italy: Chinification. The town of Prato now has Chinese outnumbering the original inhabitants, and who went to Rome will know the zone around the station is somewhat of a Chinese colony. Maybe Alex Gaudino could've made one of the Chinese girls sing in this song? It would've spice things up for sure!
How did i miss this?
I was trying to follow Hande Yener religiously when I just realised I missed out on this video "Unutulmuyor". It's a great new song and video of her, really what i was waiting for! Her look in this clip is very nice too, please don't go blond (yellow) ever again Hande!!

She Da One
Our girl Riri is back with "You Da One dishing us some Madonna style looks. The visual sure is nice, but neither the song nore the video is anything compared to her previous effort. Nevertheless nice job. Hope she keeps up and doesn't slip into a burn-out anytime soon!

Alexandra Stan is back with her "One Million". After serving us 2 identical songs she goes 180 and gives us hip-hop. Even if she looks good and sings good, I'm afraid the song is an epic fail.
MIXKULA Awards: The Trashiest videos of 2011
This first MIXKULA Awards series that will play out throughout the end of this year, will honor the girls who had the guts to bare all, to face all odds and to embrace TRASH!
First up: Dunja Illic, who made many one's stomach turn, and is, I quote "A shame for the Serbian nation"
Second is Zaimina Vasjari, the one that's been massively researched by all of you who arrive from Google! Less voice, more silicone is her anthem!
The bronze goes to Девушки Эйнштейна - Сука. The well fitted tittle "Bitch" fits this 3:20 of passionless "kissing" I'd call it mouth-scraping. It's really vulgar and disgusting, and whoever came up with this should be jailed for crimes of aesthetics.
Mohombi – In Your Head
Mohombie, the great Congolese-Swedish singer, released his latest single "In Your Head" sampling "Zombie" by the Cranberries. We've already heard his alternative version "In Your Bed", and I have to say I preferred that version. It was much more out there and shocking. So judge for yourself!

I Sense a Riri
Ever saw the intro of Rihanna's "We Found Love"? Romania's superstar Inna seems to try to do something similar in the teaser for her upcoming video "Bring The Sun In My Life". We'll be able to judge how well she does all this in 60 hours from now!

Ukraine's Lavina Music released this teaser, I'm interested to see the whole video that will be released nov. 4th. Let's hope it's not all smoke and steam like NikitA's video...
Not hired for singing abilities
These three Ukrainian beauties are strutting their stuff in the Polish/Ukrainian region of Galicia. It's clear they were hired for their looks and ability to pull off reveling outfits, not because of their stunning vocals. It's nevertheless a lot of fun to watch this video. Such a shock it must've been for the local population...
90′s / Eurodance influenced?
I'm still not sure if I like this Dev girl, but for sure she's influenced by 90's and Romanian pop music. The song is nice, I'm sooo itchy to remember the 90's song that sounds just like the instrumental part of her song. If anybody can help me out, thanks a million!
