A perfect example of Korean pretty boys, VIXX take a dramatic, vampire inspired plot for their new video. As for (almost) all South Korean music videos: impeccable big budget productions and flawless styling.
9MUSES – Wild
Now this is my cup of tea! 9 sexy South Korean girls, a catchy song, and great video direction! 9Muses are definitely upping the sex appeal with respect to other Korean girl groups, without being trashy. Even if there's too many muses in 9, everything about this picture is perfect!
LC9 – MaMa Beat (feat. Gain)
One thing's for sure: You don't want to mess with LC9. The amount of fashion aided violence in this video is off the scale, and it all leaves me wondering, was this necessary? Meanwhile this is all is guided by a Michael Jackson-esque sound track called "MaMa Beat" of which nothing is lip synced. No, the guys were too busy beating each others brains out.
Girl’s Day – Expectation
Three is a crowd. How about ten? I wonder how they keep down all those ego's! However they do it, they're doing something right. Girl's Day's new single is pretty catchy! The video is ok too, but not shooting for the stars like 4Minute or T-Ara's N4.
시크릿 (SECRET) – YooHoo
Ever heard of over-saturation. Well this video has clearly gotten one of those treatments. The girls of K-Pop formation Secret are clearly not meant for surviving in nature, but who wouldn't want their destination as a holiday?
T-ARA N4 (티아라 N4) – Jeon Won Diary (전원일기)
A subformation of K-Pop giant T-Ara, N4 releases two full budget videos for their debut single "Jeon Won Diary". Two examples of impeccable South-Korean styling that will rule the world, wether you like it or not. Just one fashion nightmare occurred: One of the girls wears the same shirt ( oversized sequined t-shirt) we've seen before in the 4Minute video. Nevertheless: ME GUSTA!!
SHINee 샤이니 – Why So Serious?
I couldn't not post the latest video of SHINee, on e of Korea's leading boybands, but man, this song is a crusade against the eardrums...
4MINUTE – 이름이 뭐예요? (What’s Your Name?)
4MINUTE's new video "What's Your Name" is a explosion of color and 100% fashion. Koreans know exactly what's happening in the world of fashion and don't worry, you'll be wearing these clothes as well.
Gavy NJ(가비엔제이) – Farewell Cinema
This video could actually be nice, if it weren't so MELODRAMATIC. Or better, badly acted frowning faces are not appealing.
EvoL (이블) – Get Up
Leave it to Korea to blow out visual minds, Evol presents us with their new fashion packed video. The song is not as new as the imagery, but that's how we like our Koreans...
GLAM – In Front Of The Mirror
Many girls could take a note from this video, even though I think most of them couldn't afford most of the clothes these girls are wearing. If they did, Givenchy would survive the crisis solely on Korean girls.
Rania (라니아) – Just Go
Shunned in Korea for being too sexy, Rania is serving up something sexy but classy, with tons of dance routines and catchy looks. And a catchy song, most importantly.

Blush – Warrior
Meet the World's first Pan-Asian girl group: Blush. With members from all over the continent they potentially reach a public spanning well over 2,5 billion people. Musically you could say these girls were modelled after great American inventions like The Pussycat Dolls. Currently the girls are going hard mostly in Japan and south east Asia, but they're also breaking ground on the USA dance charts.
SHINee – Dream Girl
As little musical innovation comes from South Korea, as much is the visual innovation. This video of one of the top groups of Korea "SHINee" (Shiny) is a lust for the eye. Everything has been thought of, till the last eyebrow hair color of each pretty boy.
Dasoni(다소니) – Good Bye
What Dasoni's new song lacks in Koreaness, the video makes up for. It's in fact one of the first K-Pop video which shows an embrace of local culture and fashion. Like it's the latest fashion to make sub-units from famour groups. Dasoni are actually members of the group Exid, which we wrote about before. Ofcourse it wouldn't be Korea if it wasnt a good bye instead of a goodbye.
SISTAR19 – 있다 없으니까 (GONE NOT AROUND ANY LONGER)
So apparently the new trend in Korea is to make only some girls of a girl-group sing a song and forget about the rest. When the say less is more, sometimes more is more. It's practically the same as any other SISTAR song, but only with less girls, and a lower styling budget.
Kim Sori – Dual Life
Definitely more sexy than her other Korean counterparts (Kim Sori shows a lot more skin and gets zoomed in on when doing sexy dance moves)! This song is pretty strong, and I'll be surely adding it to my new 2013 playlist!
Speed – It’s Over
Korean boyband SPEED is back with their "new" video. The song is little original, and reminds of several American products (like "Low" ) and the dance with the lit up gloves seems a reprise of Eric Saade's ESC 2011 stint with the song "Popular".
Girls’ Generation – I Got A Boy
Apart from the fact there's too many girls in this generation, there's too many sounds in this song. It seems they couldn't decide what song to make so they made one for every girl inside one song. It's utterly chaotic and lacks of direction. The girls look good, though, all nine of them...
Spica (스피카) – Lonely
K-Pop Galore! Spica released a new mini album and a great video to go with the new single "Lonely". The velvet dresses are really horrible and cheap, but the rest of the outfits are two thumbs up!
