Kaiia – Uhodi (Teaser)
Normally i don't post teasers, but this is really promising: Kaiia, Ukrainian/Moldovan, releasing a Russian language song by Romanian producing team MaaN (also known from Alexandra Stan's succes). Can't wait to hear the entire track!
Dianna Rotaru – Am plecat
Even if Moldovan Dianna Rotaru shows some definite lapses in fashion judgement at times, her Ace Of Base inspired track makes up a lot. Editing was also successful on this video. This shows Katalina, who we've wrote about before, it's possible to make a video without a porn plot.
Katalina Rusu – My Name is Love
Everything about this video screams trash, it really looks like the beginning of a xxx-rated movie from which the "hard" parts were cut. Katalina impersonates all the porn cliché's: the Secretary, the nurse. And the amount of make-up on her face would be enough to supply an entire brothel for over a year!
Anna Lesko – Ia Ma

Anna Lesko has been living in Romania for so long that she's not considered Moldovan anymore by her compratiots (first hand information). This song is definitely better than her last effort, and has some moments of greatness when it reminds me of hits like "Dragostea Din Tei" and such. Great to hear more Romanian language songs as well!
Dan Balan – Люби

Will Dan Balan's midas' touch continue with his latest single? It seems goodbye to Dance for Dan, Who gives a rat's ass if he can't sing.
Anna Lesko – Go Crazy
So I don't get it. Anna Lesko, originally from Moldova, went all the way to Thailand to record a video for THIS SONG? A grave waste of means if you'd ask me, thinking her last song "Get It" did not even have a video to support it. I think a video at the beach on Constanta would've sufficed...
Love the kitten…
It's not like I particulalry like this song by Moldovan DARA, but the kitten is just SOOOOOOO cute! It looks just like my Turkish Van kitten. I just had to share it, for the kitten's sake. Tomorrow we'll see if Dara will be singing this song on the Eurovision songcontest as 11 march the national selection of Moldova will take place.
Diana Grigor – Tonight
Apparently not listed for the Eurovision pre selection of Moldova, this song was just what I would want to see on the ESC 2012. It has the catchy beat and the crappy lyrics we've all gotten to love from our Eastern European pop acts. But man, this Diana Grigor is a psycho bitch! She has a thing for treating the men she once loved with very badly. Better be picky next time, it's not all their fault!
Top of the trash?
With equal amounts of class and whore, Anna Lesko, hailing from Moldova but currently residing in Romania, brings us those two elements to her new video, not equally distributed however. The song is for sure less catchy than her previous "Get It" which did not see a video materialize.
Лепестками Слез All over

Moldovan ex O-Zone singer Dan Balan becomes slightly repetitive. While the song "Лишь до утра" isn't bad (apart from the rap), and the video neither, there's something about it that doesn't make it Top. While it's a sure fire hit, and predictably going to #1 in Russia, it's too similar to his duet with Vera Bezhneva"Лепестками Слез". Plus I think they did a lot of software correction on the voice.
ed. It's kinda catchy so i'll make it Top after all.
Not dead part 3
Dan balan sends the message out yet again: I'm not dead! His latest single is well on its way to to reach nr. 1 in russia. Most notable in the video: Dan is climbing a mountain pointlessly. He must have real bad skin being ressurected multiple times, because they've used a gaussian video blur of the stongest caliber to retouch his face.
Not dead!
After the O-zone faded away in 2004 we thought these Moldovans were dead, well sort of, turned out Dan Balan had a second life as Crazy Loop, and then died again. Only to be re-resurrected as... himself. With Chica Bomb he had a minor hit in some western countries, and a major one in Eastern Europe. Since the Russians love him he now sings Russian and paired up with Vera Brezhneva, and Ex-Via Gra. We can't say, though, that Dan's looks improved much over the years...
