Russian MFF threesome Azhur released another track in english. Last year we saw the highly contagious "Summer Love", and this year's "One More Night" does not underwhelm either! While the trash factor is high, we can't help but love this song!

Our beloved Chili, with the particular sound, is back 50's style. I can't say i particularly think this is her best song, but the video concept is very refreshing.
Out Of Space – Продолжай
While it isn't of the highest budget videos, it's pretty effective. The song is even more catchy! So two thumbs up! She does look like a clown on the preview picture, though...
Нюша – Наедине
Nyusha, Russia's closest equivalent to Britney spears in her early years, gives us somewhat of a psychological video. It shows resemblance to fever induced visions, after watching Rihanna's "Only Girl". It's nice, but it's also confusing and unpleasant in certain aspects. The song is ok too.
Юлия Ковальчук – Мохито
The Russian, more pretty, version of Sarah Jessica Parker resurrected. Once a member of the now defunct group "Блестящие" (the rival of Via Gra) Yulia Kovalchuk started a solo career popping out a few boobs in her debut video. Then spawning singles on a more or less annual basis. So we can't sat she's really on top of it. In fact, this song sounds like it's been made 8 years ago. It's very dowdy. The video is ok though. I just don't really see what they were trying to do with it.

Infinity finally made a decent video, but the song is too much "Where Have You Been" by Rihanna

Egine featuring T-Pain – Moon of Dreams
Who did it better, the everlasting question when covers surface. I'm not against taking an old song and making it new, but the copy - paste level of this one is pretty painful. What was more painful was Ruslana's bad accent on the original version of this song. Even so, her version gets my preference. Even if Egine has a great voice, she does not bring a lot of personality to the table. I'm wondering if failure T-Pain even re-recored his unchanged verse. The video is great however. Great shots on the beach, just wish they left out the plastic mermaid part... Enjoy both!

Strangely I like this latest offering by the Russian Lil' Kim named Byanka. It's less hysterical than her usual tracks. Ofcourse her professional stripper-moves couldn't lack in this video, and what's that make up! It's like she has major bags under her eyes, and I ain't talking Louis Vuitton! Ofcourse that fur coat is essential if you're wearing a bikini when it's -20°C outside...

This clearly recognisable Constantin Meladze production marks a comeback for Valeriya and a surefire hit for his brother Valeriy Meladze. These Georgian Titans of russian music are also behind the success of pop entities as Via Gra and Yin' Yan'. Valeriya is the evergreen of the Russian music scene, and she keeps on coming back for yet more success.
Veronica – Ain’t Russian Doll
I got a feeling Veronica has no clue of what she's talking about. The concept behind this broke down wannabe Iggy Azalea is: take a pretty girl, feed her words. I think all the "bullshit" she hears, comes from her own mouth.

Шахзода – Мой золотой (Dr. Costi mix)
You know you're screwed when a Uzbek singer and a Bulgarian producer shoot the video for their Russian-market song in Thailand. Shahzada became famous internationally after her single "Kechalar" and released her first russian market single with "1000 и одна ночь (1001 nights)". Even if Shahzoda looks great in this video, it's the song that rips her from all her personality. This song sounds like any other Costi production and Shahzoda's role as an Uzbek singer would've easily been substituted by a Romanian, Bulgarian or Moldovan singer. It personally reminds me too much of a country-fair kind of song.

Apparently Vintage is on a steep fall into oblivion. Once russia's biggest groups, they're losing it. This horrible excuse for a video is one example. The music does nothing to appease either. This song will enter one ear, and exit from the other.
Catrine – Время
Caterine does not bring us a shockingly good song, but the video is awesome! Caterine is probably more beautiful than her voice, but the steampunk theme of this video really works!
Анжелика Варум – Сумасшедшая
If she wasn't crazy before shooting this video, Angelica Varum was after shooting it. At least so she sings (the title of her songs means "I'm Crazy"). It would be very mindnumbing to twist around in that cage with all the screens around you i recon.
Натали – О боже, какой мужчина
Natalya used some spare flour she had laying around to make her video more interesting. It was nice for once, but after a while also that becomes old. For the rest it's ok, and a pretty decent song as well.

Either Angelika Varum was too shy to make an appearance in her video, or the director thought she wouldn't fit into the sexual theme of the video. As usual a boring song had to be spiced up with some sex scenes and functionless nudity. What could be a poetic tale about the life of a hotel room (if the walls could only talk...) became a cheap romance/porn novel.

While the whole world changes, some things never change. Jeanna Friske still makes the same, familiar, simple, happy songs with a repetitive hook. What did change is her make-up artist. This one did a lousy job. What also changed is the lack of a computer generate environment, what is usually her trademark. Let's just say the budged was slashed. Or perhaps she spent it all on hot models, so she could mingle after it was a wrap. And for the perverts: the grey outfit reveals her panties more than once...
